Day 1: Give yourself 10 minutes

Give yourself 10 minutes a day to do one thing for yourself.

Purposely plan into your day time to reflect, give thanks, sit in silence, stretch, or whatever you feel is missing in your day-to-day.

For example, I set a timer for 10-minutes in the morning after the kids are on the bus, and I write. It’s free-flow conscious writing meaning whatever pops into my mind I write it down.

Sometimes I’m writing about one thing my brain is focused on, and other days I’m all over the place, ideas popping up like popcorn.

But once the timer goes off, that’s it.

I’ve come to appreciate those 10-minutes.
