There are a few ways you can tackle this challenge and it’s up to you to determine how you’re going to get the most out of it.

One way you can get the most out of it is to make this challenge a priority. A must. An experiment you are willing to put time and effort into, no matter what may come your way over the next 7 days. If you took the time to enter your email, confirm your email and then request to join a Facebook Group, to me that means you’re serious about really wanting to make a change in your life. You’re tired of the way things are at this moment and you’re hopeful with the new year you can finally make the changes that will create the life you want most.

Or, you can keep signing up for free things, do them half-asss and forget about them before they’re done, and then repeat the process about twenty more times over the course of the year.

My advice to you is to stop signing up for everything that comes your way and decide to commit to one practice and show up so you can allow yourself a fighting chance to make healthy changes in your life once and for all.

We get one shot at this dance, one opportunity on this planet to live our best lives. It’s time to put yourself at the forefront so you can be your best version for you and your family, and the people who need you most in this world.

Here are my top 5 ways you can get the most out of this free 7-day ab challenge. Remember, it’s only up to you how serious you are about making a change in your life.

How To Set Yourself Up for Success

Know Where You Are Vs. Where You Want To Be (And understand what it will take to bridge the gap)

Are you unhappy with your body and want to lose 20 pounds? Are you tired of feeling like you have no control around food? Is guilt a part of your everyday life? Do you struggle to find a fitness routine that you can stick with for more than a month?

Freewrite everything you’re struggling with. Just let the brain dump it all out on paper and see, truly see, what you’re dealing with. Where are you now?

Once you have a clear idea of where you are, write out where you want to be. What does life look like 6 months from now? Or a year from now? Where have you made the most improvements and what does that look like?

Once you understand where you are, and you know where you want to be, it’s a matter of bridging the two. How do you get from A to B? It’s going to be different for everybody, so I can’t lay it out for you, you’re going to have to figure out the first step, and then the next and so on and so on. But once you have clarity around this, taking the right next step will become clear to you.

Commit to Showing Up Every Day (Even with a little ‘Hi’ to the group)

There are so many wonderful, brilliant, supportive, loving people in this world who would love nothing more than to help a fellow human achieve success. When you get a crew of people together working toward the same goal, who are struggling with the same issues, and you’re part of that group, it would be silly not to lean into that group to give and receive support.

That’s why we have this Facebook Group. It’s our safe space to share with each other, to lament, to offer guidance, hope, compassion, camaraderie, and love. Take advantage of people who are in it with you, and discover the magic that can come from helping other people.

By committing to yourself, and by showing up every day, you’re sending out the positive vibes that can lift someone’s spirit when they need it most.

If you think you have nothing to share, then I challenge you, even more, to show up, because we all have gifts and you never know if your’s is the exact thing someone else needs.

At the very least, say hi!

Ask Questions!

I’m here for you! I’m here because helping people discover how they can strengthen their bodies, and improve their mindsets — which ultimately makes even more things possible for them — drives me.

I want to help you overcome mental barriers, limiting beliefs, and physical struggles so you can improve your life and love who you see in the mirror every day.

So throughout this challenge, show up in the Lives, or post questions to the group. Take advantage!

Take 5 Minutes Every Day and Think About Nothing

I know it sounds weird, but trust me, slowing your roll down to a crawl can help you refocus and gain insight when life gets to be too overwhelming.

All you need to do is close your eyes and think about nothing. Not even your to-do list. This isn’t a time to organize and prioritize. This is the time to let it all go for a moment.

Don’t worry, your world won’t fall apart during this time.

Think of it as a reset button and free yourself from the constant internal chatter that goes on all day long. Shut it down for a few moments every day and give yourself a break from your list of “shoulds” and negative talk.

Never Give Up On Yourself. Never!

Life is too short. Be who you want to be, do what you want to do, give thanks for your opportunities. Spread love and make sure to love yourself!

This is by no means an exhaustive list of all the opportunities you can create for success, but they’re a starting point. Know where you want to be six months from now and commit to devoting time and energy every day to get you there. You can do this! This challenge is the jumping-off point that will propel you through the new year and beyond!

Make the most of it 🙂
